About Us

The company was founded by Bill and Maureen Ure over 30 years ago and has become one of the most successful training organisations in Scotland.  We are a family run business with a team committed to delivering lifelong learning opportunities to all.  Our traditional values believe in onsite assessment and ensure the qualification is tailored to each learner’s needs.  We will never pack a training room full of people and deliver a ‘one size fits all’ vocational qualification. Our traditional values fuse successfully with our contemporary portfolio options including Learning Assistant which is the official e-portfolio for City & Guilds.  Once again, our experienced team work with learners to find the most suitable option to them.  Our robust CPD programmes maintain our team’s up to the minute industry knowledge.

We work closely with SQA, City & Guilds and Skills Development Scotland to deliver quality work based qualifications that empower employees.  We pride ourselves on offering learners the option of higher level qualifications that can lead to memberships of professional bodies, such as IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety & Health), ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management), CMI (Chartered Management Institute) and CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building). Along with work based qualifications, we also offer short classroom based courses such as IOSH Managing Safely and SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).

Our vastly experienced team has the relevant occupational knowledge and expertise to ensure that all learners and client companies see the tangible benefits of the training programmes we deliver, be it short courses or vocational qualifications.
